In this tutorial we will go over how to do an advanced transactions roll up in the ledger.
Step 1
Select the transactions that you want to roll up in the Transactions page. To roll up transactions, they must all share the same Asset Type, Transaction Type (Send, Receive, Buy, Sell), Connection and Classification. In this example we are roll up Blast being Received as Crypto Income from the Test connection.
Step 2
Click on the "Bulk Action" button after selecting your transactions then click on the "Advanced Transaction Rollup" menu option. In this example we selected a timeframe from June 1-30, 2024
Step 3
In the advanced transaction roll up menu, you will need to select a "Granularity Timeframe" (daily, weekly, monthly) as well as "Rollup Date" (First transaction or Last Transaction) that defines the resulting timestamp of the rolled up transactions.
After selecting the timeframe and the roll up date, scroll down and click "Roll Up".
Next, select "Portfolio History" to confirm the roll up status.
Under Status if done correctly you should see "Success". Please note, if it fails, please confirm you selected transactions with the same asset type, transaction type (Send, Receive, Buy, Sell), Connection and Classification.
If you need to ever Revert back the roll up you can select the "Revert" button,
Head back to the transactions tab. You will now see the 15 transactions rolled up with an "R" symbol on the right and a total "Cost Base" of all transactions.
To see how the roll up journal entries will appear on your ERP click on the "info" tab and select "Journal"
