A data merge on Cryptoworth is when a transaction CSV is imported to override or combine existing data on the platform with the new data from the import. This can be used to merge data into wallets, exchanges, and other transaction data sources.

In this advanced tutorial, we will present a step-by-step guide on how to merge existing data through a CSV import.

Step 1

Click on the three-dotted button for the data ops menu, then click on the Data Merge option.

Step 2

Download the CSV template and fill out the fields with the transaction data you are intending to merge into other transactions.

Step 3

Export via CSV the existing transactions you want to override on Cryptoworth. You will need the Internal ID references of each transaction that will partake in the data merge. These internal ID references are available when exported via the CSV option.

Step 4

Input the Internal ID references onto the data merge CSV template. On this data merge example, we are merging the additional Sale Price with Markup and Label columns data into the existing transactions on Cryptoworth.

Step 5

Select your source, attach your modified data merge CSV and click import. Your data merge will now be complete.
