In this tutorial, we will explain our to use the Transaction Merge feature within the data operations  menu.

Video Tutorial below:

Step 1

Click the three-dotted button on the Transactions page for the dropdown data ops menu and click on the Transaction Merge option.

Step 2

Read the instructions on the Transaction Merge page and download the CSV template by clicking the highlighted link.

On the Transaction Merge CSV there are columns that are required and some that are not. Below is a screenshot with the columns underlined in red that need to be filled out before importing the CSV. There are more columns if you scroll to the right for additional data you can add to the merge.

You can use the Connection_Id and or Connection_Name column to identify the connection, we recommend using the Connection_Name because if the wallet is ever disconnected and reconnected, the connection will have a new ID.

Connection_Type: This column is to identify if the connection type is a "Wallet" or "Account", account referring to an exchange or third-party connection.

Connection_Id: This column is for the connection ID which can be found in the Connections page on Cryptoworth. You can export your connections into a CSV to get the connection ID. Upon opening the connection CSV, copy the connection id you need and paste it to the Connection_Id column.

You do have the option of ignoring this column if you only want to use the Connection_Name column to identify the connection.

Connection_Name: Make sure to copy the exact name of the connection(s) into this column. This is case sensitive. Connection names are always unique and cannot be duplicated.

Date Time (UTC): Copy the timestamp/date of the transactions that are being merged. You can do a transaction CSV export and copy the timestamps of the transactions you want to merge into the Transaction Merge CSV format.

Crypto id: Input the Crypto ID of the cryptocurrency into this column, which can be found here:

Type: Enter the transaction type, whether it is a BUY, SELL, RECEIVE, or SEND.

The Tag is optional, though highly recommended when possible for better readability.

The Amount_One, Amount_One_Type, Amount_Two, and Amount_Two_Type should be the same cryptocurrency amounts and type unless a BUY or SELL is occurring which requires the entry of the fiat amount on one side.

Step 3

In this tutorial, we are merging two transactions with identical timestamps made on the Ethereum network onto a specific wallet connection. Now that the CSV is formatted as shown in the above screenshot, head back to the Transaction Merge page.

Step 4

Import your Transaction Merge CSV file.
