In this tutorial, we will go over the setup of your calculation settings in the portfolio settings menu. In the calculation settings, you will be able to decide if you want to automatically transfer cost basis, include fees in sale prices, choose to account for fees in sale prices or at cost basis, enable/disable running balances and sanity checks, and lastly include fiat transactions.
Step 1
Head to your portfolio settings.
Step 2
In the portfolio settings, go to Calculation Settings.
Decide the configuration for your calculation in the portfolio. If you want cost basis to auto-transfer during the transaction event of internal transfers, you can enable it in the first option. You can choose to include fees in the sale prices. You can choose to record the fees at sale price or cost basis in the third option. In the fourth option, you can choose to calculate the running balances. In the fifth option you can enable taxability sanity checks, and lastly you have the option to include fiat transactions (in beta, doesn't support all connections)
