In this tutorial, we will explain what the Crypto ID is and how to find it for each asset.
The Crypto ID is the identification number that Cryptoworth's Crypto One system designates to each digital asset. This ID is how the system is able to identify assets on the platform. A digital asset that is on more than one chain will have a unique Crypto ID per chain, keep this in mind.
In the example of the tutorial, we will show you how to find the Crypto ID for USDC on the Ethereum chain in Cryptoworth's Crypto One platform.
Step 1
While on any page, click on the square button (user options) on the top left
Next, select "Asset Search"
Step 2
Now in the search bar, type in and search for the asset you are looking for. In this example, we are looking for USDC.
You may notice that when you search for an asset that there may be multiple identical versions of the asset. The difference is that the same asset can be on multiple chains. In this example, we are looking for the Crypto ID of USDC on Ethereum therefore, it will be the first option because ERC20 tokens are on the Ethereum chain. The Crypto ID here is 32.
Make sure to look at the token protocol symbol to figure out what chain the asset is on. ERC20 is Ethereum, MATIC-ERC20 is Polygon, FTM-ERC20 is Fantom, BEP20 is BNB Smart Chain (also known as Binance Smart Chain), TRC20 is Tron.
