Cryptoworth’s manual CSV import is an option when integration is not yet available for a particular connection. Using the format of Cryptoworth’s manual CSV import, you can consolidate the transactions into the spreadsheet for the purpose of uploading it to the platform afterward.

Step 1

Create your Manual Import connection. Head to the Connections page.

Step 2

Click on the blue Connect button.

Step 3

Search for "manual import" and click on the Cryptoworth manual import option.

Step 4

Make sure to name your manual import connection and fill in the description. Optionally, if you want the manual connection to calculate the inventory balance you can click the checkbox.

Step 5

Click on the Connect button to initiate the connection.

Step 6

The next objective is to download the manual import CSV format. Head to the Transactions page.

Step 7

Click on the Import button.

Step 8

Click on the "Select a source" field and look to select your recently added manual import connection.

Step 9

Click on the link to download the Cryptoworth manual import CSV to obtain the required format.

Step 10

The manual CSV format will show all the fields that you can use to upload your transaction data. Transaction IDs are not required, however, they are highly recommended if available.

The date formats are not required to be the same however the date format CANNOT be day/month/year. It MUST be in a format that represents, month/day/year.

If there is a manually recorded trade event, one line item is the first asset. The second line item is the second asset. The third line item is the associated fee.

The Crypto ID is how Cryptoworth identifies the cryptocurrency transaction that is being manually entered into the system. To find the Crypto ID, head back to the Cryptoworth platform.

If you are manually inputting NFT transactions, the Crypto ID is always -1. There are three tags you can use for the Tag column of your NFT transaction (NFT, NFT BUY, NFT SELL)

Please note when recording fees, if the fee currency is the same as the currency being sent (BTC SEND event for example), the SEND event always has the fee recorded in the same line item and this input would be filled under the Fees column. If the SEND event is a different currency than the fee, take for example USDC being sent and the fee being in ETH, then in this case the fee will always be recorded in a separate line. Trade fees from an exchange are always recorded on a separate line.

To find the Crypto ID click on the square search icon.

Step 10

Every cryptocurrency on Cryptoworth has an associated number that the system uses for recognition. This number is the Crypto ID, use the number for each cryptocurrency you are manually adding to the manual CSV import.

Here is an example of a completed manual CSV import in the correct format:

Step 11

Once you've completed entering your transactions into the CSV. Click on the Import button.

Step 12

Search for and click your manual import connection.

Step 13

Select your manual import CSV file then click on the blue Import button to sync the transactions.

Next, select Skip CSV Validation and then import. Only if the import fails should you unselect Skip CSV Validation.

Your transaction will now synchronize over the next few minutes.
