Transactions Page Advanced Option Menus "More" and "Bulk Action"

Managing thousands of transaction lines manually is impossible for high-volume Web3 enterprises. Cryptoworth’s Transactions page solves this with powerful bulk operation tools designed to speed up reconciliation and data cleanup.

1. The "More" Menu

This menu appears at the bottom center of the screen only after you have selected at least one transaction using the checkboxes. It allows you to apply changes to multiple lines simultaneously.

  • Internal Transfers:

    • Mark as Internal Transfer: Forces selected transactions to be treated as non-taxable movements between your own wallets. This prevents them from triggering capital gains events.

    • Unmark as Internal Transfer: Reverts a transfer back to a taxable "Send" or "Receive" event.

  • Transaction Pairing:

    • Pair Transactions: Manually links two separate lines (e.g., a "Send" from Wallet A and a "Receive" in Wallet B) into a single trade or swap treated event. This is critical for resolving missing transfer links of unidentified trades or swaps in the ledger.

    • Unpair Transactions: Breaks a paired link if the system incorrectly matched two unrelated events.

  • Data Adjustments:

    • Change Crypto Type: Useful for correcting token identification errors (e.g., if a token was mislabeled as a different asset with the same ticker).

    • Split/Unsplit Transaction: Breaks a single transaction line into multiple components, often used for complex DeFi bundling.

    • Clear FMV Data: Removes manual Fair Market Value overrides, reverting the pricing to Cryptoworth's default index.

2. The Bulk Action Menu

This menu is also located in the bottom floating bar and provides advanced administrative actions for the selected batch.

  • Classification:

    • Undo Classify Transactions: Quickly wipes the classification tags (e.g., "Income," "Expense") from a batch of transactions if you made a mistake.

  • Organization:

    • Label Transactions: Adds a custom text label to the selected group (e.g., "Q4 Marketing Spend"). This label can later be used as a filter in reports.

    • Flag/Unflag Transactions: Toggles a visual flag on the transactions. This is excellent for marking "problem" lines that require further review by a colleague or auditor.

  • Data Hygiene:

    • Delete Manual Transactions: Permanently removes manually created entries. Note: You cannot delete transactions synced directly from a blockchain; you can only ignore them.

3. Best Practice: Workflow for Reconciliation

  1. Filter First: Use the top filter bar to isolate the specific group you need (e.g., "Outgoing" transactions from "MetaMask" in "December").

  2. Select All: Click the master checkbox at the top left of the table to select all visible items.

  3. Apply Bulk Action: Use the Bulk Action menu to "Mark as Internal Transfer" or "Classify" the entire set in one click, saving hours of manual clicking.
