Workflows in Cryptoworth help streamline and track critical finance processes like Financial Close. By breaking down the process into clear, sequential steps: Data Sync, Reconciliation, Classification, Calculation, GL Sync, and Period Lock.
You can easily monitor progress and ensure each stage is completed. You can create a workflow by selecting the type, period granularity, date, and deadline. Once created, each step can be marked as complete, giving your team visibility and control over the close timeline.
From the side panel, click More Options, then select Workflows.
Click Create Workflow.
Complete the fields in the modal. The Create Workflow modal includes the following fields:
Workflow Type
Choose the type of workflow you are creating. Currently, "Financial Close" is available, while "Audit" and "FP&A" are listed as coming soon.
Select the Period (Time Dimension)
This section lets you define the reporting period:Granularity: Pick how often this workflow occurs—monthly, quarterly, or yearly.
Select Date: Choose the specific start period for the workflow. This is formatted as
YYYY-MM
.
Deadline for the Task
Choose the cutoff date for when the workflow should be completed. This ensures the team knows when it's due.
Create Workflow button
Once all fields are filled, click this button to initiate and schedule the workflow.
Click Create Workflow.
Click Show Workflow.
Once your workflow is created, it appears in the list with a progress tracker.
Click on each step in the workflow to review it, then select Mark as Complete to move the workflow forward.
