Retrieving the API key and Secret from Gate.io

To connect Gate.io to Cryptoworth, you will require an API key and an API Secret.

To generate an API key and an API secret from Gate.io, follow the instructions in the guide on Generating an API key and Secret in Gate.io.

Connect Gate.io with Cryptoworth

Once you've generated the API key and secret from Gate.io, perform the following in Cryptoworth.

  1. Login to Cryptoworth and navigate to Accounts.

  2. Click on the Connect button (at the top right corner).
    ​

  3. Select Gate.io.
    ​

    ​

  4. Complete the following fields.
    ​

    1. Name your account: Provide a name for the Gate.io account in Cryptoworth.
      ​

    2. Connection description (optional): Optionally, you may add a description to the account.
      ​

    3. API Key: Enter the API Key you retrieved from Gate.io.
      ​

    4. API Secret: Enter the API Secret you retrieved from Gate.io.
      ​

    5. Sync Transactions: Enable this checkbox if you want to update transactions performed in your Gate.io account at regular intervals.
      ​
      ​

  5. Click Connect.
