Connect the Coinbase API

To connect the Coinbase API to Cryptoworth, you will require an API key and an API Secret.

Retrieving the API key and Secret from Coinbase

To generate an API key and an API secret from Coinbase, follow the instructions in the guide on Creating a Coinbase API key and secret and Getting Started with Advanced Trade APIs.

Connect Coinbase with Cryptoworth

Once you've generated the API key and secret from Coinbase, perform the following in Cryptoworth.

  1. Login to Cryptoworth and navigate to Accounts.
    ​


    ​

  2. Click on the Connect button (at the top right corner).
    ​


    ​

  3. Search for "Coinbase" and select Coinbase (API).
    ​


    ​

  4. Complete the following fields.
    ​

    1. Name your account: Provide a name for the Coinbase account in Cryptoworth.
      ​

    2. Connection description: Optionally, you may add a description to the account.
      ​

    3. API Key: Enter the API Key you retrieved from Coinbase.
      ​

    4. API Secret: Enter the API Secret you retrieved from Coinbase.
      ​

    5. Use CSVs for transactions: Enable this checkbox if you want to use CSVs.
      ​

    6. Sync Transactions: Enable this checkbox if you want to update transactions performed in your Coinbase account at regular intervals.


    ​

  5. Click Connect.
