Note: By default, the Snapshot feature remains disabled. You need to enable it to use the automated Snapshots feature.

Enabling Scheduled Snapshots

Once enabled, a Snapshot is automatically created every day at a pre-defined time.

To enable scheduled Snapshots follow the following steps.

  1. From the side panel, click on the Entity name and select Entity Settings.

  2. Click on Snapshots.

  3. Click on the Enable button.

  4. Click on the Entity EOD Time link. This will take you to the End of Day Time page allowing you to specify an "end of day" time at which snapshots are created.

  5. Select a time zone from the Pricing Time Zone dropdown and enter an Hour and Minute value for the Pricing time in the 24-hour format.

For instance, if you wish to run snapshots every day at midnight, then this would be 00 Hours at 00 Minutes.

  6. Click on Save to confirm. A Snapshot will be automatically created daily at the "End of Date Time" you configured.

Manual Snapshots

You may also run manual snapshots at any time by following the steps below.

  1. Navigate to Reports > General > Snapshots from the side panel.

  2. Click on the Snapshot Now button at the top right corner.

  3. Once the Snapshot is processed and ready, it will be displayed in the list by its date.

Viewing and Exporting Snapshots

  1. Navigate to Reports > General > Snapshots from the side panel.

  2. Click on the Snapshot record after it is created and click on the Export button to download it in a format of your choice.

  3. Select a Report Type from the dropdown and click Export.

    1. Snapshot Report - Asset Level: aggregates balances of assets and wallets.

    2. Snapshot Report - Connection Balance Level: focuses on asset-level balances for each connection

    3. Snapshot Report - Connection Wallet Level: focuses on wallet details, asset types, values, and data sources.

  4. Click on the Report Export History icon next to the "Reports" section. You will now see a list of reports you've exported.

  5. Click on the download icon next to the report you wish to save.

Info: For wallets, the balance data are derived directly from the blockchain. For exchanges, the specific API of the exchange will be called to retrieve the balance data (i.e. Coinbase, etc.).

A Snapshot report provides a high-level overview of all balances in your portfolio and DeFi positions. This includes the currency value of the balances per connection. You drill down into the balance to view the tokens that make up the balance including the DeFi positions (i.e. staking would show up here).
