Configuring Calculation Settings in Your Portfolio
This tutorial explains how to configure Calculation Settings in your portfolio to customize how Cryptoworth processes cost basis, fees, balances, and fiat transactions.
From the side panel, click on your entity's name, then select Entity Settings.
In the settings menu, click Calculation.
You’ll see several options to customize how calculations are handled in your portfolio:
Auto-Transfer Cost Basis
Enable this to automatically carry over cost basis during internal transfers.
Include Fees in Proceeds
Enable to include transaction fees in the recorded sale price.
Fee Accounting Method
Choose whether to account for fees at their market price or cost basis.
Enable Running Balances
Activate to display running balances across transactions.
Enable Sanity Checks
Turn on to detect and flag potentially incorrect taxable events.
Include Fiat Transactions
Enable to include fiat-based transactions.
Override Start Date
By default, calculations begin from the first transaction in the ledger to ensure accuracy. Disable this option to force calculations to start from the date specified in your filter settings instead.
Click Save after making your desired selections to apply the settings.
