In this tutorial, we will go over how to clear your transaction fair market values (FMV) and the implications of using this function in the ledger.
From the side panel, navigate to the Transactions tab.
Using the checkbox, select the transaction you want to clear the Fair Market Value from.
Click on the "More" button, then select Clear FMV Data.
This will remove any cost basis/proceeds from the transaction line. Once you do this function, you will need to run a new cost basis calculation for the system to add fair market value data to the line.
Confirm the action by clicking the "Clear Data" button and the transactions selected will have their fair market values cleared.
